Open Positions

Assay Scientist

PBL InterferonSource is searching for a highly detailed and well organized individual to be responsible for the hands on development of immunoassays such as ELISAs, cell-based assays, and other assays. This scientist will optimize and verify assay performance in multiple biological fluids; develop and screen new tools and reagents, such as antibodies, for assay suitability; implement and develop new assay techniques; and plan & execute transfer to Production for final commercialization. The Assay Scientist will also develop custom assays and reagents for clients, and utilize new assays for research purposes to produce literature demonstrating the utility of PBL assays.

The ideal candidate will possess a B.S. degree in biological sciences with 1-4 years’ of ELISA or other Immunoassay development experience. Experience with multiple immunoassay and cell based assay formats preferred. Must be a highly responsible individual able to execute multiple efforts and interpret data effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills are necessary. High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office needed. Must have a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. Experience interacting with customers is a plus.
